The Tightra by Silk’n, a global leader in home-use medical aesthetic devices, is a safe and effective intimate wellness solution for stress incontinence and vaginal laxity. Tightra is the first and only vaginal tightening home-use device that utilizes Radio Frequency, clinically proven to increase blood flow and boost elastin and collagen production in pelvic floor muscles.
How does it work?
Tightra utilizes Radio Frequency energy that flows between the device electrodes. This heat energy stimulates the cells resulting in the increased formation and construction of collagen and elastin fibres which reduces urinary incontinence and improves bladder control. Treatments using Radio Frequency energy also enhance natural lubrication, increase sensation, and improve external appearance.
Safe to Use
Tightra features several safety mechanisms including 16 built-in heat sensors that continuously monitor the temperature of the skin during use. The device also includes a Touch Sensor which ensures the device is only active when proper skin contact is achieved. The Auto Shut-Off function automatically switches the device off after 20 minutes, the recommended treatment duration.
Who is it for?
It is estimated that over 33% of women following childbirth and 55% of post-menopausal women, can experience bladder control and other intimate health-related issues. This translates into literally millions of women who are experiencing symptoms that can be improved with Tightra.
Childbirth, aging, hormonal factors and genetics can all contribute to weakened pelvic floor muscles resulting in loss of bladder control, tightness and elasticity.
As women age, the bladder’s ability to store urine can decrease. This can cause stress incontinence, a sudden, intense urge to urinate causing involuntary loss of urine or overflow incontinence resulting in frequent or consistent minor leakage.
After menopause, women produce less estrogen, a hormone that helps keep the lining of the bladder and urethra healthy. Deterioration of these tissues can also cause incontinence and dryness.
Childbirth can weaken muscles needed for bladder control as well as damage bladder nerves and supportive tissue.
Benefits:
